We did two performances for students and two public performances to packed crowds. It was WONDERFUL! Below is a video that showcases our actors. Downloadable photos are below that. Lewis Carroll would have been proud.
Our production is our own version taken from Lewis Carroll's imaginative story.

The Power of Imagination: In 1999, I spent three weeks in Japan as part of the Fulbright Program learning about Japan’s education system. While there I was privileged to have a personal conversation with Japan’s Director of Education. I remember telling him that educators in the United States admired the high test scores Japanese students had in the sciences and mathematics. He thanked me and then said something I will never forget: “Our success in those areas is strong, however I admire the creativity and pragmatism of the United States. I fear our students think only of one right answer and lack the skills necessary to imagine the impossible.”
That stuck with me.
If we want our children to be creative and imaginative, we have to create an environment and experiences that nurture, not only their academic development,
but their imagination as well. Creative experiences are necessary to encourage them to think out of the box and make them understand the power of the mind, the power of thoughts.
You may have heard the proverb, "A thought can move mountains." If you can imagine it and work hard, ideas become reality. Look at things we have that might not have been imagined even ten years ago.
As Albert Einstein said:
“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire
world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.”
…or as Alice says:
“Dinah, If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrariwise, what it is, it wouldn't be, and what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?”
