This is such a fun read! Martin is... different! He simply can't bring himself to kill and eat mice. The rest of his family think he is weird. They aren't very nice to him. He ends up trying to raise a family of mice, never expecting all the trouble they'd be. He never expected the danger that would bring either. Martin's attitude made me think about why people sometimes simply decide they don't like something before they even give it a chance.
