ATTENTION GETTER!

This activity is designed to invite wonder and imagination to unite.  Ask kids what they think is at the end of each tunnel and why they think that.  If they could visit only one of the tunnels which they would choose and why?  Lots of things you can do with this. (similar to "Path" activity)

Brazilian artist Henrique Oliveira has applied his strange but beautiful signature style of sculpture to an amazing installation of monumental proportions, creating a twisted network of gigantic tree root tunnels out of recycled wood that can be explored from the inside. Ask kids if they have ever made tunnels?  What would be an exciting thing about going through a tunnel?  What might be a scary thing about going into a tunnel?
