Attention Getter!  Kids will love this!

1.  This activity focuses on creativity in a comfy place --bed. Kids will see that everything --even something as ordinary as a bed can become something very special.  Show the first slideshow and let the kids talk about what they like or do not like about the beds shown. At the end, let them choose which bed was their favorite. 

​2. Read Sylvia Plath's "The Bed Book" to kids.

3. Show the following slideshow to see more unusual beds. 

ACTIVITY OPTION:  You can let children design their own dream bed on paper. Many will "steal" one of the ideas they saw in the slideshows.  That is perfectly okay. At this point in time, the important things is for kids to see there are many possibilities...
