As a teacher, there are few things more gratifying than seeing former students achieve great things in life. That joy is magnified when that student is your own daughter. Jessica, who has a degree in Liberal Arts and has been a stay-at-home-mom, decided that now that her girls are getting older it was time to enter the medical field. With the help of her giving husband, Josh, and two great kids, she entered what would prove to be an extremely demanding accelerated nursing program. I can only imagine the hours she spent studying.
Graduation was August 17th in Bentonville, Arkansas. We were so proud when she was announced as winner of the "Florence Nightingale Award" for her class. This is the most prestigious award given to a graduating nurse and recognizes the individual who best exemplifies those qualities which bring honor to the profession. WE ARE SO PROUD!

There was no question that we would be going to the graduation. My younger daughter, who is also my former student and is THE most creative person I know, in addition to being a great mom and Yoga teacher, decided we would have a special party the night before graduation to let Jessica know how much we love her. It didn't matter that we lived 4 1/2 hours from where Jessica lives... the party WOULD happen there. She came up with all sorts of "interesting" appetizers and special touches to make the party special. It was so much fun and gave us all the opportunity to create another wonderful family memory. Thank you Candace and Tim.

the REAL Photographer - Cross
Okay, I like to think I am a decent photographer --I've taken more photos than anyone can count, however... we discovered that Cross is the real photographer. His images do the best job of capturing who we really are. Look below...
