MARY POPPINS REALLY WAS "TOTALLY PERFECT!"
CHECK OUT IMAGES OF THE REAL STARS (us) FROM THE ORPHEUM!!!
On February 5th and 7th, second through eighth grade G.T. students and many parents went to Memphis to see the Disney Broadway production of "MARY POPPINS." The theater was beautiful and crowded --it was a sell out.
Each of us had favorite scenes, but the most often mentioned were: "Step in Time" (the chimney sweep dancing upside-down on the ceiling was crazy), the
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious number, the set!!!, the statues, the giant umbrella, and the beautiful dream scene. LOTS OF CREATIVITY, PROBLEM SOLVING, AND PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE that made it all... TOTALLY PERFECT.
